RETAIL DEVELOPMENT MANAGER 

Are you a determined and self-motivated individual with the passion to manage our Charity Shops and Donation Centre? If so, we would love to hear from you!

The successful candidate will have a proven track record of working with Charity Shops and volunteers as well as processing large quantities of donations. You will have Retail Management experience and/or charity retail experience with knowledge and experience of Volunteer Management. You will be able to deliver a retail strategy that will enhance existing income streams and maximise income, whilst also helping manage and support Charity Shop Managers in the day to day running of their shops. The Retail Development Manager will be responsible for ordering and managing stock levels. You will also develop and maintain up to date policies and procedures, such as Fire Risks and H & S, ensuring they are embedded across the retail operation. You will effectively manage the Donation Centre Operations, implementing processes to ensure that the potential of our charity shops and operation is maximised. The work will often be fast paced with a need to prioritise and work to deadlines.

You will be able to recognise a development opportunity, have strong communication skills, the ability to work independently and on your own initiative and are committed to brightening the lives of Deaf children.

Employed by: Chloe’s and Sophie’s Special Ears Fund

Based: Camberley plus travel within Surrey and Hampshire

Line Manager: Karen Jackson, CEO

Hours: 39 per week

Salary: £27,000

Support & Development Co-ordinator Job Vacancy in Wrexham and Flintshire

Are you a determined and self-motivated individual who is passionate about delivering valuable support to Deaf Children and their families? If so, we would love to hear from you!


The successful candidate will have a proven track record of working with Deaf children, Teachers of the Deaf and local schools. Key in promoting and raising the profile of CSSEF to the local community and local services providers. The work will often be fast paced with a need to prioritise and work to deadlines.

You will be able to recognise a development opportunity, have experience of delivering services or projects and are committed to brightening the lives of Deaf children. The Support and Development Co-ordinator will be on the front line delivering our Wishes programme.

To apply for this role, you must be a Welsh speaker and have a minimum of BSL level 2, with the commitment to complete Level 3 (funded by CSSEF).Employed by: Chloe’s and Sophie’s Special Ears Fund

Based: Part remote in Wrexham and Flintshire and part office based in Denbighshire

Hours: 39 per week

Salary: £21,166 - £24,000 (Depending on experience)
